Abstract
This 2 ½ -day course will touch on all the main aspects which enable the Geoscientist to deliver a solid seismic interpretation. Examples of interpretation workflows will be studied and interpretation pitfalls discussed. The concepts of well ties, depth conversion, inversion and AVO analysis are integrated into this course. Within a 2 ½ -day course the time is limited for a detailed theoretical discussion therefore the focus is on practical applications.
- Integration of Geology and Geophysics
- Well Ties
- Depth Conversion
- Analysis of the seismic response to change in thickness, fluid content, lithology
- Reservoir Characterization – AVO Analysis, Inversion, Cross-plot interpretation, RPTs
- Case Studies
