The CSEGF Challenge Bowl is an action-packed geoscience quiz game for geological and geophysical CSEG student members. This intense competition is a fast-paced Jeopardy-style game where contestants attempt to buzz in with answers to challenging geoscience questions. All geoscience students are encouraged to participate in this unique event which combines knowledge, competition, and fun.
Each year, teams from different Canadian Universities compete for the grand prize - an expenses-paid trip to the SEG Annual Meeting. The winning team will represent Canada at the 2018 SEG International Challenge Bowl Finals, competing in Anaheim, CA against the best teams from around the world!
Cheer on your favourite team, marvel at their knowledge or share their enthusiasm! This event is free to attend and there is no cost for registration. Team registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis so don’t hesitate to register before it fills up!
For any students interested in attending this event who are deterred from attending due to distance, travel grants are available through GeoConvention and from the CSEG Foundation.
