Abstract
A somewhat rambling, very personal view on the past, present and future of commercial microseismic monitoring tracing the technological evolution in response to the changing industry environment and suggesting what might be in store over the next few years.
Biography
Peter M. Duncan is President and CEO of MicroSeismic, Inc. He holds a Ph. D. in Geophysics from the University of Toronto. Duncan was 2003-04 President of SEG. He is an Honorary Member of SEG, CSEG, GSH and EAGE. He was awarded the Virgil Kauffman Gold Medal from SEG in 2014. He is currently President of GSH.
